More and more clients have tried on themselves the benefits of Acupuncture and TCVM and whish the same for their pets... Surprisingly, animals react better and faster than human beings, as no suggestion is possible during treatments… Acupuncture works well whereas has to be, being indicated specially in all chronic pathologies that have bad response with Conventional treatments. Therefore, both Medicines complement each other. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of our pets

¿ACUPUNCTURE FOR MY ANIMAL?

Veterinary Acupuncture is a therapeutic technique part of TCVM based in needle insertion in specific points of animal´s body to get the healing effect desired.

Acupuncture treatments are performed with disposable sterilized stainless steel needles

There is occasionally a brief moment of sensitivity ( D´Qi ) as the needle penetrates the skin in certain sensitive areas. Once the needles are in place, most animals relax, often falling sleep during treatment

Acupuncture is one of the safest therapies utilized if practiced by a competent Veterinary Acupuncturist

Treatments may last from 30 minutes to one hour, depending upon the condition treated and the method employed

The most common method employed are dry needle ( conventional acupuncture) electro-acupuncture, aqua-puncture, pneumo-puncture, moxibustion, laser-puncture

Patients are often treated once/twice a week, for 4-6 weeks..A positive response is often noticed within the 4 treatments, sometimes earlier depending upon condition treated

We complement the Acupuncture treatments with Chinese Herbal Medicine, Food Therapy and Tuina Massage, whereas is indicated in each case
