The Chi Institute College of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Program was established as part of an effort to promote the presence of TCVM in veterinary medical schools. Scholarships are awarded to veterinary school faculty members.

Scholarship applications for 2020 courses can be made beginning June 1st, 2019. The deadline for this application cycle is November 1st, 2019.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Download and fill out the Chi CVM Scholarship Application or Apply Online (recommended).

  • Fill out the registration form to the corresponding acupuncture course (Mixed Practice or Small Animal).

  • Submit a letter of recommendation from your CVM department head or supervisor, detailing why you should be chosen to receive this award.

  • Submit a letter of intent, outlining your interests and goals in TCVM. Indicate how you could contribute to TCVM in the future, be it through supporting academic courses in TCVM or through research.

  • Submit your curriculum vitae (resume) detailing your professional history, personal history, and hobbies and interests.

  • Email your application form, along the required documents, all in the same email by the due date to

Scholarship Prizes

1.640 € for each of the students that receive the scholarship. This discount is applicable to sessions 4 and 5 of the course. 

Important information

  • You will receive a notification with the decision concerning your application before January 1st, 2020.

  • Early Bird discount (-15%) is not compatible with the scholarship. In case you applied for both and the scholarship is granted, this discount will be applied and therefore the Early Bird discount will be automatically voided. In the case you do not get the scholarship but applied before September 1st, the 15% Early Bird discount is then applied, except for the 2020 Acupuncture Courses held in the United Kingdom that in which this discount is not applicable.

  • In order to make the scholarship applicable in sessions 4 and 5, the student that receives it must complete all 5 sessions in the same year and pay the corresponding tuition of sessions 1, 2 and 3, the registration fee and the final exams fees, 30 days before the start of each session.
